Field Level Hazard Assessments

Complacency is perhaps one of the biggest problems we face in completing our day to day tasks. We are used to things being a certain way each time and unless the obvious comes right out and hits us, we can be oblivious to it all. This is state of mind can affect many things such as productivity, quality and safety. Every moment we are working with hazardous energy on metal buildings, whether it be a large production machine, forklift, automobile, power tools, and electricity or even walking from one end of the facility to the other, we must keep focused on the task at hand.

By filling out daily Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs) we can keep a note of our work environment and mark any changes to help everyone be aware of their surroundings. These FLHAs are checked daily to ensure continual improvements are made to make us one of the safest places to work in Alberta. MakLoc’s ongoing priority is safety for all of our employees throughout our construction business, whether you’re a welder, an erector, or an office worker.
